We went here as part of a cruise shore excursion. It is close to Chacabuco, Chile. We took a beautiful hike to a waterfall. A lot of the beautiful plants along the way were labeled so that you knew what they were. The next stop was a enclosed pavilion with a nice fireplace. We were the “snack” group, the next group was having lunch. The “snacks” included several different items including finger sandwiches, warm appetizers, small desserts and beverages! We even were offered a delicious pisco sour, the National drink of Chile! Everything was delicious and filling! Then we were treated to local folkloric dancers! What a wonderful Chilean nature and cultural experience!

We visited here on an excursion from the Norwegian Star. The bus for the tour was parked just outside the port terminal and then we met our guide, Matias Weber. Turns out that Matias has a passion for the environment and this park, thus making him an excellent tour guide!

We rode the bus into the park and then walked through the forest to a waterfall. Straight off the bat we saw a pair of condors!!!! Check that off the bucket list! Through the walk Matias would stop and explain what we were seeing. He knew everything! Along the way we could hear lots of birds, but unfortunately we couldn't spot any other than the condors.

After reaching the waterfalls we walked to Quincho where we were treated to local drinks and local snacks. But the best part were the two couples who danced traditional dances for us. Wonderful!

This was a wonderful visit, made even better by our guide Matias!

Took a tour taking us into the forest for a short walk to see a waterfall. Lots of different trees and shrubs, very humid. Then on to a visitors centre to enjoy Chilean Flok Dancing and snacks. The dancers were excellent. Very enjoyable but fairly costly

Our visit to this park started with a call at the Information Centre, which is small with information boards having narrative only in Spanish. After that, we had a walk through the park of about 45 minutes to reach a smallish but attractive waterfall. The path is "natural" but not too difficult to negotiate and the flora along the way was interesting. Our trip ended with a folkloric music/dance show and some quite tasty refreshments at the Chilean country style dining venue located close to the park entrance. Altogether, a nice way to spend three hours or so..

...my shops were closed. The stores linked to corporate owners were made to look like mini fortresses due to recent political unrest in Chile. We're told the siesta is still observed but in 20019 Chile it's tough to view this as enlightened policy.

This park is a must-see when in this area. We happened to catch a perfect photo-op day to capture some of the most memorable images we have seen traveling anywhere else on this earth. Highly recommended and a short drive from the port.

We took a shore excursion from the cruise ship to this private nature reserve.

We had a very informative guide who spoke excellent English and was able to answer questions with straightforward explanation as well as giving a more detailed response to relevant questions relating to the botany and wildlife of the park.

The walk was relatively easy although not suitable for all and after a visit to a waterfall concluded with a traditional lamb BBQ in a beautiful setting against a lake background. Those wishing for a vegetarian or non-lamb option were also provided for.

A nice afternoon but we were blessed with a dry day which is not always the case.

Took a half day tour to visit this private park in Northern Patagonia. It is a dense rain forest which features a large number of bird species. We took a 2 kilometer walk. After the walk we enjoyed a traditional lamb BBQ in a gita with a spectacular view of a lake. It was time well spent.

This park is owned by the company that owns Loberias del Sur Hotel(Detroit). It is a 1.5-2 mile tour guided hike through well constructed mostly flat paths where one can admire flora(explanations along the way), a cascade, etc. Although somewhat artificial by virtue of the design, everything else is real and beautiful. Our trip ended with a lamb barbecue and a singer. Fun all-around
