Small but very interesting and informative with helpful volunteers to assist. Free to enter but donations gratefully received. There is a small mezzanine level which would be problematic for the disabled. No parking close to the building but the narrow road is not busy and...More

Thank you very much for your glowing review. As you say we are totally run by volunteers and so it is great to hear that our work is being enjoyed. We are open now Wednesday-Sunday 1pm - 4pm until 30 September.

Dropped in here yesterday whilst in the area. Have tried to visit several times before but unfortunately it has always been closed - bad timing! Prospective visitors may be interested to know that the museum is open from early May until the end of September...More

Recently visited the museum with very little expectations and found this place to be a hidden Gem. Two women were extremely friendly and helpful and spent lots of time with our daughter. Learnt lots about an area so close by that we knew very little...More
