We came on a day trip from Gangneung using the bus. It took about 30minutes to get here. We got off at the Unification Park (3000KRW) with the boat, explored around there and then walked up to the part with the planes and memorials. It...More

Picked a beautiful day for this little trip down the coast. Got dropped off by taxi at the top park with a collection of planes and armoured ground vehicles. It was fun climbing into the tanks and personal vehicles. Then we strolled the 900m or...More

This was a really great outing. There is a lot to see and a lot of history. South Korea has been through a lot and this is one place where you read about the country's history and victories.

Great opportunity to go inside a real North Korean sub, apparently there was 25 North Korean soldiers in there when it was discovered in south korean waters in 1996. I don't know where they would fit 5, not to mention 25!

We explored the decommissioned war ship and found it interesting. This ship is being allowed to rot away. Very strange, maybe there's no money to spend on upkeep. The North Korean sub that sits near it is going the same route. Very interesting touring through...More
