This is probably the most famous site in Gangneung. However, you will not see many tourists especially during the winter! You can enjoy the view of lake.

The structure was built for scholars centuries ago. It has been renovated several times and is very ornately decorated and very beautiful. It has a nice view of the lake and surrounding area.

An interesting building with nice view and a nice park nearby. A good place to relax, take a walk round the park and then to the interesting park.

This place is really pretty during the Cherry blossom season. Although it rained when I visited, it was still worth the visit. There wasn't too much walking involved so it's really perfect for families to visit.
