One of the highlighted temples in many guidebooks and sympathetically restored with 4 standing buddhas which are unusual in their own right. Worth a visist but be wary of the tourist sellers who are some of the more persistent in Bagan

While the Pagoda is beautiful, the stall holders out the front were very persistent and actually hampered the spiritual visit I would have liked. Once inside though, I was able to take in the building along with its architecture and history. I liked how the...More

The outside of the temple is better than most in Bagan. There is not much to see inside though. You need to remove your shoes and socks to walk around. Part of the walkway is just dirt and pebbles and not very well maintained and...More

Historically, this is a wonderful piece of the past. There are four massive Buddha statues, one facing each cardinal direction. It seems to be a local pilgrimage site, as many were dressed in their best Myanmar outfits. Temple is nice and restored but grounds could...More

Awe-inspiring and absolutely beautiful inside and out...white-washed external wall with Golden spire above, set in the shape of a cross with four large standing 9.5M Buddhas. Oytside 80 stone reliefs illustrate the life of Prince Siddhatha.
