Great experience with knowledgeable guides. We saw many whales and loads of seals, as well as a dolphin briefly.
Boat was great as everyone got a good view.

We joined Romonza Boat Trips on a whale watching cruise and we were lucky enough to see 3 whales in the 1st hour!! It was amazing seeing these big creatures up close...by law the boat is only allowed to come within 50 meters of the whales.
The crew is very knowledgeable about their subjects and very friendly. If would be very helpfull if they can at least whipe the seating area with a clean cloth before we as customers embark the boat, all of us were wet from sitting on a wet deck.
Overall i`ll do the trip again, they should ensure the seating has bean dried...with a clean cloth.

We had a trip booked with another company to Gasbaii, but it was cancelled due to the wind.
We booked another one in Mossel Bay and that was cancelled because there were not enough people.
So, wandering along the seafront we came across this agency that guaranteed we would go out and see whales! So it was: we went out in 2, with Guide and skipper. We spotted the whales very well and the Guide explained many things to us! Back home they showed us the seals. I would say super recommended.

The trip was amazing, the staff were very lovely and welcoming and answered any problems you had. We spotted 12 whales, dolphins and seals, it was a brilliant experience and would definitely return again. The driver also would slow down and let you appreciate the whales up close.

Our trip got cancelled because of weather conditions (even though it was sunny and no wind, but who knows). Not a big deal though, but we are still waiting to get our money back as we payed via credit card. No answer at all from the owners. This actually looks like scam, do not pay online upfront!

Booked tickets online and it clearly stated that the sunset boat trip would start at 6pm. We arrived 5:45pm and realised the office was closed. We had to phone the company and were told that the sunset boat trip starts at 5pm this time of year... No information of this anywhere on the webpage. Extremely disappointing as the tickets were prepaid and we only had one night here in Mossel Bay. I will not recommend this to anyone as the woman we spoke to seemed highly unprofessional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Romonza to Seal Island, it lasts the perfect amount of time, finished before the younger kids become bored, but long enough to make you feel like you'd be able to sail with Captain Jack Sparrow. Do take a jacket, we forgot and it can get a bit chilly on the water.

we have booked a whale watching tour with Romonza Boat, when we arrived at the office we were told that there was no tour going out that day because the sea was too rough and it was too unsafe to go out. This was a surprising explanation because the sea was very calm that day and there weren't any white crests on top of the waves. Standing at the beach we watched the wales breaching and we could also see many small boats going out, the fisherman, the shark tour, the fishing tour, and some small yawls and dinghies. So everybody else seemed to have no problem, but too rough for whale watching?

The basic seal island trip is R200.00 per person, but call them beforehand as most activities dont operate normal hours at this stage as its still lockdown.
