We visited BRT Brewery and the Meerkat Deli. The owner family were so welcoming and we spent ages just chatting about Graaff-Reinet and country life in general. Willie, Diana, Henning and Anel Boshoff were absolute stars! Henning served our craft beers after a small taste...More

We had a quick beer tasting and then a few beers and lunch. Lunch took longer than usual to be prepared and drink waiters was pretty much absent, but in general, we were not in hurry and the food was excellent. Pity the wool shop...More

Had a quick little stop at this brewery, the bar itself is beautiful. The service was good, the only downside would be the limited selection of crafts on tap. The pricing was very reasonable!

Stopped by for breakfast and a pint (I'm on holiday, don't judge ;) ). The GRT ale is refreshing with a hint of bitterness and great on a late sunny morning. Also had the breakfast omelette from the associated deli and it was large enough...More

Stopped for a quick sample. The bijou bar is beautifully decorated and very cosy. The inside is supplemented by seating in a sunny calm outdoor courtyard. Sunny friendly greeting, but not too much explanation on the types of beers available. Decent choices of gin on...More
