About
This green oasis of peace in Ibadan draws locals and travelers to its many attractions. Here, you can spot turtles, monkeys and peacocks at the Agodi Zoo, have a blast at the water park, stroll through the beautifully landscaped woods, go on a horse ride, and have a leisurely picnic on the lush lawn. There's even a paintball arena where you can have a face-off or even catch a tournament. You’ll need a ticket to enter Agodi Gardens and individual attractions might have separate charges—though admission is usually covered on a tour of Ibadan which often includes a stop at the gardens. – Tripadvisor

It was a total waste of money. Just sat down under a tree and I left after one hour. Didn’t see anything special

Agodi Gardens is a nice place to go. I had a nice time recently because I was seated in a section that almost looked like I was in the middle of nature. The seat (stone with a wooden plank) was a little high so it was not too comfortable. Some of the others are not so high. Also, there are wooden seats located at various places around Agodi Gardens. If it wasn't rainy season, it would have been nice to place mats on the ground. There are peacocks walking around adding beauty to the place.

There are a few playground equipment at a couple of locations for children to play on.

Apart from enjoying a little of nature, you can also play snooker, play table tennis, ride a bicycle, ride a horse, go on a trampoline, etc. These are at an extra cost.

You can buy food at an outdoor restaurant or you can buy food at a sophisticated place. It's your choice. Drinks, biscuits, and ice cream are also available.

Two major challenges with Agodi Gardens are that in the rainy season, you have to be careful of a few swampy areas. There is also next to no shade provided. When it is sunny, you can stay where there are trees. But if rain meets you at Agodi Gardens there is almost no sheltered place to stay.

One last thing is that there are three pools. The one with the big slide is not functioning at the moment. The children's pool is wide and shallow with slides. The adult pool is not deep so there's a lot of space for beginners to move around. If you like water volleyball and you are with friends you can have a match or two.

The entrance fee is reasonable.

Spend some time there alone or with friends. It is a good place for relaxation and picnics.

Went to Ibadan in March it was sooo hot. Not the parks fault though lol but was expecting to see the Animals part after want one to visit here for so long. but the walk from the park area to the zoo was horrible so much trash through the bush and what do you know Got to see the alligator monkey and bird that's all that was there. And my favorite A Horse while walkin through the park. The guy who kept it up was so kind hearted he even talked to us about the animals and even fed the parrot bird so he can talk to us. Enjoyed what animals they had though there was so much unkept grass and bush area that when I was walking I got cut on branches so many times . The pool was so packed and water not clean. Really had my hopes up. Oh yeah the entrance workers were sooo rude. Thanks from an Unhappy American

I had fun at agodi gardens, especially at the pool area which had 3 pools. The swim coaches are dope. Nice place to relax and to hold events.

Barely 2 minutes after we got through the entrance gate, while searching for a spot we could lay out our picnic mats, there was a heavy downpour and we could not enjoy the park. Spoke to the team at the gate and ask if we could get partially reimbursed and they rudely declined.
There were no tour supervisors also. Kids slipped and fell in muddy waters.
