Our mobile camping safari with Go Bold Adventure Tours was a wonderful experience for the whole family.
Our family with 3 children (ages 11, 14 and 15) spent 4 days with Julius and his team, spending the first 2 nights at the Magotho Campsite (Khwai Development Trust) and the following 2 nights at the Savuti Campsite (Chobe National Park) in September 2023.
Our game drives with Julius in these areas were amazing. The landscape in both areas is quite different but very beautiful in its own way and we saw so much wildlife! More than we had imagined possible. Julius was extremely good at spotting wildlife from afar and also made sure that we were able to watch the animals at a close distance, still making sure everyone in the open vehicle was feeling comfortable with the situation. We learned so much from Julius and he was very patient in answering our many questions, be it about the animals, birds, termite mounds or baobab trees.
Mobile camping was also a great new experience for us that we can highly recommend.
At the beginning one or two of our family members were a bit nervous about the fact that the campsites were unfenced and that wild animals could walk around there freely. But we soon all felt very safe and comfortable with Julius and his team taking care of us. Our campsite was set up by Oti and Chris, two very friendly and helpful staff members who took care of everything and made sure we felt comfortable and at home. The food on our mobile camping safari was excellent! Chris, the cook, made delicious meals for us and we were amazed by the fact that he was able to conjure up a 3-course menu and even bake fresh bread and cake over a single fireplace.
These 4 days with Julius and his team were an amazing experience that we will never forget.
Thank you Julius, Lebo, Oti and Chris for taking such good care of us. We would definitely like to come back again. You are very lucky to be able to live and work in such an amazing and beautiful part of this world and you obviously all enjoy the work that you do.

Unique and fantastic experience, I would leave again tomorrow. Despite the initial skepticism I immediately had to change my mind thanks to Julius and his staff. Super helpful golden people and above all with an almost unique love and admiration for animals and their continent. Julius was the first to extend the outings or bring them forward as long as I could see as much as possible, we even had the honor of a night outing in which we saw a lion hunting and all only because in the middle of the night we heard a lion very close and Julius told me he said it was a thrill and a privilege to watch him hunt. In short, it wasn't necessary at all and yet, just to make me experience an emotion, he woke up in the middle of the night and we left in the car. Don't be confused by the quote and the description which may not seem so detailed, the safari will definitely be worth it!!! very wild and close contact with nature, perhaps not for everyone and obviously not with the comforts of a lodge, but what emotions!!! Well done

Julius from Go Bold Adventure Tours is a very well organized guide, an excellent driver and a really nice person. He picked me up for my Mokoro adventure in the Okavango Delta and explained me a lot about the area and the living in Botswana. Even though its not one of the big touroperators (yet) the service is excellent and I personally can highly recommend!

First of all, I need to give a bit of context about the situation we were in. It was around 8 p.m. and the next day was our last day in Maun. We had no options for any trips, the only thing we could do by ourselves is pray or go visit the city centre. We spoke to our guesthouse host and he said that he "knows a guy". He called Julius, gave us the phone and the magic began! Julius was the kindest person, even though he didnt plan any activities for the next day, he understood it's our one and only chance to see the beatiful Okavango Delta and he agreed to come pick us up at the guesthouse and take us to the Mokorro boat cruise (1.5-2h away) the next day. Literally saved our Maun experience. He drove us there, he was a safari guide during the drive, he was waiting for us when we got of the cruise and he took us back home. He's an amazine person with amazing experience and a beautiful way of talking about wildlife, he knows the animals! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Go Bold Adventure Tours! Thank you Julius!

My husband and I spent 4 days and 3 nights in Moremi with Julius and his Go Bold team in August. It was fantastic!
Julius is an outstanding guide. He has an uncanny ability to spot animals, even very far away with barely an ear tip showing. He is extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and their habits and shares this knowledge. And his experience allows him to accurately read and judge animals. Our time was well planned and well spent, getting the most animal sightings out of our 4 days, thanks to Julius.
Our accommodation was a beautiful tent at Third Bridge, deep in Moremi, which Julius organized.
Along with Julius we had G, our wonderful chef, and James, our waiter and helper. All three were always pleasant, patient and accommodating our every want or need.
Chef G prepared menus in advance and brought all the ingredients to prepare variety of beautiful and delicious meals for us, fully accommodating our dietary restrictions and tastes.
Separately, Julius also organized Mokoro boat tour and bush walk for us which was fun and informative with lots of hippos, zebras and birds.
Julius and the team at Go Bold Adventure Tours came highly recommended and they lived up to it in every respect!

We had a great experience with Go Bold Adventure Tours. The tour guide was very patient and considerate. We were traveling with younger children and they were safe through out the trip. It was very chilly in the morning and he provide warm blankets to all of us.
We also saw a lot of animals in the park because he was very patient and knew the right areas to take us.
He made sure we were all safe even when we had a break-down.
I highly recommend this tour guide if you need a chilled trip in Moremi

Julius, from Go Bold Adventure Tours, was recommended to me by someone in the Tracks4Africa group that I'm a member of. If only I had known about Go Bold before! I've been travelling to Southern Africa since 2008 and booking campsites in, for example, Botswana has always been challenging in many ways. Twice now, Julius was able to secure our preferred camps within 24 hours, on our favourite sites! Yes indeed, within 24 hours!
Go Bold & Julius are nothing short of amazing and I would always contact them, for any future bookings, also in other countries. I truly and highly recommend him and the team!

Safari and bush camp extraordinaire! My family of 2 adults and our children had an amazing 10 day camping safari time with Julius and his bush camp team. Highly recommend going with this local operator!

If you want to see wonderful landscape and now and then some elephants and impalas, you can go by your own car on safari. But if you want to get really close to the wildlife of Botswana, you MUST book Julius and his Go Bold Adventure Team, because he is the best. We had the best days of our lives with him, living in tents in the bush, every second day set up at a new place by his very pleasant and helpful team (thanks to Oti and Gau; we even had roomservice in our tents ;-)), spoiled with breakfast, lunch and a three-course-dinner every evening thanks to the chef Gee (how could she manage with only one fireplace?) and filled with wonder by Julius, who showed us the wildlife in all its beauty. We came near lions and leopards we could never have dreamed. Julius knows all about the animals and because of that he knows where to find them. Every question we had he answered. He saw the animals, when we only saw grass, by the movement of one ear. We could trust him in every way and felt very safe in his presence. So we had a wonderful, unforgetable time.

We had a great experience with GoBold adventure, with the organization of Julius. The 8 days mobile safari was very well organized, great guide and helpful staff, we had the best chef !! all the campsite were spectacular. It was a beautiful adventure and we hope to come back again!
