Has anybody done the bout trip over the Hluhluwe Dam in the park. I never saw this, and I don't really find it advertised. Is there a cost? Is it interesting or like St Lucia Estuary? I hope someone has some experience/knowledge.

Hello, How do you reccomend to stay if you want to spend 2-3- days on safari in this park? We would like to spot Wild dogs if possible. Regards Lotta

I am travelling to Durban with a fellow photographer in February 2019. Has anyone got any advice about where to stay and whom to use as guides, so we can get the most out of a three day visit.. we can't afford luxury but look forward to seeing as many animals as we can. John Dickens

Wij verblijven in November in St. Lucia, en overwegen om vanuit die locatie met onze eigen (huur) auto naar het natuurpark te rijden; kan iemand ons adviseren over hoeveel tijd het kost om van St. Lucia naar het park te rijden?

I can't seem to find a website to book accomodation at either Hilltop or Imfolozi....I tried heritage but they no longer book there, as have said the accomodation needs some TLC! Can any one help with accomodation links to there or alternative options nearby?

Hi, We are visiting S.A. for the first time in July on a self drive holiday. We would like to make a day visit to Imfolozi en-route from Durban to St.Lucia. Can you recommend the best gate for us to enter the park to see as much as we can before exiting on the main road to St.Lucia? Thanks Chris Jones

Hi all, I'm planning a trip through South Africa, we're going to drive from Jo'burg - Cape Town (September 20th - October 18th). We're staying in Kruger NP for 4 nights/5 days. And now I have to choose if we either skip Hluhluwe-Imfolozi or Addo Elephant NP. We will be staying in St. Lucia already, so Hluhluwe is kind of on the way (we'll plan a full day for it). For Addo we have to book 2 nights accommodation in order to have at least 1 full day game drive. So it's not at all on the way. (I've been in Addo before and absolutely loved it, that's why I'm still considering it). Soooo.. which one would you skip and why? Also if we decide to go to Hluhluwe, do we need to book a game drive with a ranger or is self drive doable too?

We are planning to visit the Park sometime next year. Best suggested time of year? Camps which you can recommend? We are only going to stay in the camp for 3/4 days. A suggestion for our route inside the reserve? Should we include the northern part as well? Thanks!
