You have to hike a good bit too get there but it is worth it too see the Angel Falls close up and to swim there! Make sure you have a tour booked that will bring you there!

Angel Falls is a must visit when in Venezuela. The hike from the river to a closer point to see the waterfalls takes about an hour. Be careful when hiking, it gets slippery after rain. Make sure you get proper shoes for the hike.. boat...More

one of the best trips during our venezuela tour. 5 hour boat ride across one of the most beautiful landscapes we´ve ever seen! the salto angel itself is breathtaking!

I expected more or to get closer, we saw it from a distance because there was too much water to get under the fall... we stayed overnight, but I would recommend staying an extra day and actually getting closer and different angles of the fall...More
