amazing

Great place to visit, and not too much walking involved, the gorge is so deep, and as it had been raining the cascade of water coming down the waterfall was amazing. The bridge over the gorge felt a little wobbly when walking over it. It really is worth visiting The Falls Of Measach and seeing the Corrieshalloch Gorge.

I'd say go early but that means you are taking photos directly into sun. I'd say midday early afternoon best, take your time and do the full loop walk.

a series of crashing waterfalls cut naturally into a woodland. Victorian suspension bridge makes it more beautiful.

Very tall narrow falls set in the most of wonderful locations. Nature at its best
Aug 2019
Please read my review of Corrieshalloch Gorge to give you proper insight into the complete experience. On Google maps they have the two sites noted down separately, but really they are covered in the same visit and can be reached from the same car park.

I went first thing in the morning and didn’t see a soul. As I described in my review of the gorge, from the car park I took the path to the right and after a short walk I rather lackadaisically strode onto a short suspension bridge to suddenly find myself hundreds of yards above a gorge. To my right were the narrow, but powerful and very tall Falls of Measach. It’s a moment you will not forget easily. That spot is quite literally a picture perfect heaven.

It’s worthwhile to cross over the bridge and follow the path through the woods. It takes you to a viewing platform jutting out over the gorge. This allows you to look back at the falls with the suspension bridge straddling the gorge in front of it and gives you even more appreciation of the magnitude of it all.

Nature at its best and a must see stop off point.

Beautiful Falls Short Walk
Sep 2019 • Couples
Short walk over a suspension bridge takes you to the viewing platform of the falls. 46m falls and huge gorge to view, both amazing.

Worth the short walk into the park. £2 per person donation to park and view.

Absolutely stunning water fall especially after the wet weather. Bit of a walk but was well worth it.

Worth a Looksee

I doubt we would have found this on our own but our Uniquely Scotland guide, Mark, made sure we got to see it. Following him down a path, of which we passed a few persons, we made it to the bridge, which can only accommodate 6 persons at a time. If you are afraid of heights, you might think twice.
