I have played golf to a decent standard (scratch to 2 hcp) for over 20 years and I can say with a great deal of confidence that Gullane number 1 and 2 are right up there with the best courses I have ever played. They...More

We played #3. The course was in great condition. It was extremely windy, but fun. I used an electric golf cart; it was very helpful on the many hills. Definitely a links course. The people at the course were very helpful and courteous.
This was an amazing course my friends and I played to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We played this one along with St. Andrews and Turnberry. Definitely worth adding to your list.

We are delighted to hear you chose to play Gullane to mark your special Birthday celebrations, and to hear how much you enjoyed playing the Course. We hope to welcome you and your friends back to the Club in the future.
We played all three courses. Great golf with no 2 as my favourite. The pro-shop was nice, friendly staff and well-stocked. The starter at no 2 took great care of us. That’s it!More

I am not a golfer but went with my husband as he played courses 1 and 2. The views were spectacular and course 1 in particular challenging with its many pothole bunkers. Everyone was friendly and it was easy to rent clubs and a buggy.

Many thanks for your comments, we are delighted to hear you both enjoyed visiting the Club recently. Perhaps next time you visit you might like to venture onto our No. 3 Course. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Played Gullane 2 and had a great round. Great scenery and a fair test of links golf. Everybody very helpful. Round finished at 4. Odd that there was no food available in the visitors clubhouse. In fairness, staff pointed us at the old clubhouse pub...More
One of Scotland’s finest golf clubs. Three 18 hole courses.
Classic links style courses.
Start in the valley and then up over Gullane hill to spectacular views of the Firth of Forth.
Weather plays and adds challenges. Wind takes your ball for unexpected ride through...More

Did a trip on Father’s Day to Gullane No 2. The pricing point was satisfactory. The course was excellent. The third hole was a little gimmicky other than that it was killer. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Would play here again and again....More

Played #1 on a misty, windy afternoon, i.e. Scottish golf! Nice variety of holes, wonderful vista from top of Gullane Hill on 6 and 7. Par 4s are all around 400 yards or longer, choose your tees wisely. 17th tee looks downhill to a row...More

Thank you for your review - I'm glad you enjoyed the course and the views (once the Scottish haar burned away!)
We actually do use the 18th hole as our closing hole in the Scottish Open with the tee a way back half way up...More
We met for soup and sandwich in the guests club house. Staff friendly and welcoming and menu reasonably priced. Nice soup sandwich a bit sparse on filling.
We hired trollies at £20 a pop - bit expensive - gps built in - good.
