My family and I have visited here many times. The walks and views are beautiful and the valley is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon.

Went here on a really sunny day. It was a beautiful walk. There was very little shade on the path that I went on so it was actually almost TOO hot. The walk isn’t too difficult nor is it too steep. Lots of cute ewes....More

The start of the valley is necessarily I suppose an NT car park. There is a very nice cafe and ice cream parlour which would be very welcome on a hot day (they are hopefully coming soon). Moving on up there is a variety of...More

Carding Mill Valley is a lovely location and very special to our family. The little cafe does great coffee and cake. The only thing that lets it down is the shop and the unfriendly staff.

Well worth a visit with a variety of walk options to the reservoir, waterfall or up onto the Long Mynd. Parking is £4.50 per day for non NT members. Once visited I am sure you will return as it is such a special place.

We parked down at The National Trust car park (£4.50 for non members). Walked along the stream up to the waterfall and then climbed up to the top and up to the Longmynd. Walked back along the road back to Cardingmill Valley. Really nice time.
