Not overwhelming but nice for a short stop. Plenty parking when we were there (October) but might be different in high season.

We went twice in two days - one on a murky day and the other on a brighter day. Both times we were the only people there which was lovely. It really is a short walk to the Falls which is a nice change. You...More

Another beautiful Scottish waterfall! This one is a short, easy walk from the parking lot. Well worth the stop. No restrooms nearby; after watching all that rushing water, a restroom would have been nice!

Ample free parking just off the road, and then a short walk up a well made 150m path to the falls themselves. Aside from the wooden viewing platform, there are several other vantage points at the falls, and ultimately a short walk to a great...More

Who doesn't want to stand at the top of a waterfall. This one you can walk right on to. It's not the biggest but it is beautiful, a mix of narrow drops, plateaus and wider areas. Well worth your time.

After a prolonged period of dry weather this waterful was not gushing but had enough water to be worth a stop on the NC500. Pretty views over Loch Maree too. The car park was empty when we visited at about 4pm on quite a hot...More

This was a slight disappointment as it is not a very dramatic waterfall (maybe it is when the river's in spate?) but the paths were easy to walk on and it's literally 150m from the car park.

Don't be put off by the industrial looking parking lot--hike up along the falls for a few minutes and you will be rewarded with great closeup views of the falls from many different perspectives, and you get a nice view of Loch Marie as well.

A bit of a walk, but very peaceful through a wooded area, the view of the falls was stunning, a wonderful bit of nature
