We always come here every single year! It’s quiet and lovely. The kids enjoy the beach and it’s so clean, the local little town has amazing cafes.

I have been visiting Alnmouth beach with my family for many years. I have never been disappointed with any of my visits. This beach is so special and is one of the best beaches in Northumberland. If you walk on the beach towards foxton golf...More

Lovely sandy beach with a tidal river(the Aln) Great for a walk. The village has lots of eatery’s and places to stay. This makes it a great base to discover Northumberland! Parking is a problem in the town but there is a larger car park...More

I love the setting of Alnmouth beach where you can walk for miles along pristine sands and where the river joins the sea is most picturesque. Great views across to Coquet Island too. This is a peaceful area where you can just take in the...More

Ok we were weather lucky, but this was a fabulous bracing October walk! Popular with families ( it is half term as I write) dog walkers and all. Photos hopefully attached!

We visit this place at least four times a year. Long expanses of golden sands with views to Coquet island. Walk 3 miles to Boulmer or a further 8 to Craster. Shorter walk of 20 mins along shore and up around golf course. Gwen’s ice...More

Visited on an autumn day with the sun shining and a stunning cloud formation that set this picturesque beach off perfectly. Only £1.50 to park all day right on the edge of the beach or an easy walk from the town if you want to...More

Stunning beach and so very clean. Parked near golf course and walked along and back into village. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is an amazing beach - we were there as Storm Callum was brewing, and the sand appeared to be moving like water over the beach. Truly atmospheric.

I’ve never seen any & there are no signs to say you can’t. It’s quite a busy beech with many dogs so even if you can I would think twice about it

Sorry; been on holiday! Shouldn't be a problem but have respect! There is a built in BBQ area in a park off of Lovers walk- this is not far from the beach- less sand on the food and more controllable.

As previous answer, yes there are just by the golf clubhouse. You need to walk towards the town along a path by the golfcourse
