A great walk along a beautiful beach. As someone else said very clean and perfect for dog walkers and non dog walkers alike. We walked from Alnmouth to Warkworth and back again mostly on the beach. You have to watch out for the tides as...More

Another spectacular Northumbrian beach. Often busy but big enough for all. In the summer month you have to pay to park nearby.

This beach is wonderful easy access! flat and safe I wouldn't advise swimming there are strong currents and swift tides, the village is a short interesting walk away with character buildings and pubs. There is a charge to park on the shoreline 1 50 all...More

We always call here when in the area on holiday with our dog - always dog-friendly! Access to the beach car park is via road crossing golf course with lovely hills behind. Car park costs £1.50 during summer season, but otherwise is free and is...More

This beach is one of the nicest in the area with lots of golden sands, easy parking just behind the beach (around £5 per car for a full day) and offers the chance for a good old-fashioned day at the sea playing on the sands...More

The most beautiful golden sandy beach. We stayed in Alnmouth Boathouse overlooking the sea. It was an amazing timber framed home with a glass front and well equipped to a high specification, a few steps from the wonderful beach.

We only meant to pop here for a look but after having to pay an attendant to park (only £1.50 or so) we felt we should give it a bit more time. And I'm glad we did! It's a lovely flat sandy beach that seems...More

I’ve never seen any & there are no signs to say you can’t. It’s quite a busy beech with many dogs so even if you can I would think twice about it

Sorry; been on holiday! Shouldn't be a problem but have respect! There is a built in BBQ area in a park off of Lovers walk- this is not far from the beach- less sand on the food and more controllable.

As previous answer, yes there are just by the golf clubhouse. You need to walk towards the town along a path by the golfcourse
