Who would imagine that I would see so beautiful windmills, like being in a dutch landscene, in Lincolnshire? truly, one of the best sceneries in the town!

We love this place! The two gentlemen working there were so hospitable! One of them took us all the way to the top and gave us an in-depth tour that made us feel like we were going back in time. The views from the terrace were amazing! The man working in the shop below gave us wonderful recommendations on local eateries. We would not have had such a wonderful experience without them! Thank you!

Right in the centre of Boston this wonderful windmill is actually a working mill. On a Saturday you can have a tour with the very interesting miller who tells stories of the history and workings of the mill and his work in mills around the country. The stairs/ladders look steep but he is patient and makes sure everyone feels safe and secure getting up and down. The sails can go quite quickly when the wind hets up and you can buy flour that was milled there. A must see when in Boston.

The windmill as a holiday rental was quirky comfortable and so convenient to the Town of Boston that we would be tempted to go again! The windmill sails are so comforting when they are working the sound is like being in the middle of the Ocean. It is open for viewing twice a week.

We had wanted to visit this windmill while we were in Boston for the day. It was a Friday in August in the middle of the school holidays but unfortunately wasn't open which was a shame.
Windmill looked lovely and well kept from the outside so we will be back when it's open.

I spent a week staying in the old granary apartment which is adjoined to the Maud Foster Mill. It was a truly superb week, the facilities are brilliant and all appliances good quality. The layout and the restoration have been really tasteful and there are interesting and quirky details within the building. We were given porridge, cakes and bread on arrival, all of which were the produce of the mill itself. The Mill is open to the public for a tour on Wednesdays and Saturdays, although the stairs are steep and you need a reasonably good head for heights, it makes for a fascinating couple of hours.
In the shop you are able to buy products from the Mill, porridge, flour and cakes, plus memorabilia. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit, I can highly recommend it. There is also lots to see and do in the local area.
