We popped in to see the Church on passing. Quite impressive ceiling, not the usual style of interior either. We liked it , you may too.

This is a beautiful church. Right now they have a Christmas tree decorating contest. There are some very creative and lovely entries. The ladies that were in the church when I visited were very friendly and warm. If you are in the area, this is...More

An 18th Century architectural gem, with beautifully restored Cupola and wonderful apse ceiling. Quiet and contemplative atmosphere. Tea and scrumptious cakes served by very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant volunteers.

For a long time the outside has been looking for a make over and its Georgian exterior became eroded and sorry for itself. Soon it will dominate the Market place. That area is not unlike Devises and Sir John Betjamin rated it very highly

What pleasure to get into your magnificent church today. I have often walked round the outside, in the hope of finding it open, but never an open door or information as to when I might be able to enter. I wish you all good fortune...More

Georgian splendour overlaid with Victorian extravagance, huge under-budgeting and English weather will keep this magnificent building a target for upkeep projects for decades to come. But its worth it. The archivist regales you of tales of the Great Fire, the fantastic public response, human and...More
