A beautiful interesting building in itself, but obviously more interesting if your a Sir Francis Drake fan like myself. An exhibition on the top floor of the house will take you through the life and times of Drake and is well worth going through. The...More

This is a very interesting property to visit. Full of history and interesting furniture. The setting is very beautiful with gardens to enjoy. A very enjoyable visit indeed. Highly recommended.

This is a National Trust site and is presented well. Plenty of toilets and parking. the shop and cafe have plenty of are in the stables. The Abby key for the site and the history is well presented for the Abby, but very limited Gardens...More

Set in beautiful gardens and grounds this historic attraction is both interesting and educational. Well worth a visit for a walk, cake and coffee and historical learning

Gardens are well kept. The history of the house and Drake is well documented. Plenty of room to let the kids run around and the guides are knowledgeable and helpful. Mostly flatish ground so very accessible

The fair is on 11 and 12 November, from 10am-4.30pm. Buses will run from Harrowbeer from approximately 9.40am until 5pm.
