I came here especially to see this house as I am related to the Prideaux family tree , but was told on the phone that it is closed for filming which is not referred on the website. It is not open again I was told...More

Took a group tour around the house with Andrea who was very informative and the fact that it is a lived in family home made the tour even more interesting. It is a beautiful house full of character. The gardens are nice to take a...More

Was really looking forward to looking around this garden but was disappointed. Not much to look at. The house may be more interesting but as I was visiting with dogs I couldn’t go in. Lovely looking house from the outside though.

Rather expensive at £10 to look inside the house and grounds. The tour guide was very informative but the house itself to me had no character. When looking round a stately home I prefer it if it didn't look like the occupants had just moved...More

Wet day, so we decided to walk up to Prideaux. Certainly wasn't disappointed. Had a coffee first in the tea room, and very surprised to see the extensive selection of vegan options on offer - wished I'd skipped the earlier pasty! Not usually a fan...More

When we were there the deer feeding was at about 3.30. No, they do not allow photography in the house Enjoy your visit.
