This is where the warrener lived - looking after the rabbit warrens which characterised the area before the forestation. Now the car park is handy for drivers taking their dogs out - as a result the area is smelly and spoiled .

This is the last remaining rabbit warren lodge and there isn't much of it left. If you are intrested in history it is one to tick off your list. There are a couple of information boards and beyond it there is a forest to walk...More

Nice place to stop and walk this Warren is covered with wildflowers and a haven for wildlife.Near to grimes graves in the middle of the beautiful Thetford Forest.

Just off the route to Go Ape in the main part of the forest, nice free parking. So interesting and beautiful, the land all around was just lovely. We also managed to speak to some bats which we found very fun. Nice historical site to...More

It was not that easy to find for some reason but we eventually arrived on a lovely sunny Sunday morning. It is a very pleasant walk on slightly uneven sandy tracks. There were information boards giving a little of the history as you walked round....More

In itself it's not a big deal, being a ruined stone building at the edge of the forest, but there is an interesting history that is well explained on the interpretation boards. Its a couple of hundred metres along a sandy path from the car...More
