In view of the previous reviews the centre obvisouly not doing well as a gardne centre so has now been closed for some years. Currently being operated as a very reasonably priced timber yard! Well worth a visit if you need fence panels, paving slabs...More

Closed down years ago. It is now just a scruffy yard full of tat and broken stuff, with a few gardening/building businesses nearby. Oh, and a burger van. That's it. Finito. Nothing to do or see.

It's quite obvious that the place is a restaurant now and not a garden centre. Some of the people who have written reviews and not actually researched before visiting seriously need to get a grip and adjust their obviously xenophobic nature..

Called while travelling home from Norfolk following pervious visits. Still signposted from the main road and car park but closed down. Don't bother wasting time here.

Not many African violets at the time we went, lovely tea room and pond with large fish and wooden furniture but if you want violets it is not worth the visit.

On the way back from Norfolk looking for somewhere to have a break we saw the sign on the main road. The garden centre part looked fairly derelict with not much sign of any plants, the restaurant was unusually, the menu massive. Our beans on...More

I have been a lover of African Violets for years and have always promised myself a visit to the centre whenever I was in the area. On our return from a few days in Norfolk, we made the effort to go and I fully expected...More
