What a lovely addition to the front of Seaham and such a nice memorial. There are plenty of things to see and shops to visit along the sea front.

This sculpture is so moving, the attention to detail and somehow providing a lifelike vision, is truly remarkable. The words enscripted, brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful.

We drove to Seaham just to see this statue, having seen ones at Scarborough North Bay and Filey, well worth it.

This sculpture was in our view from our bedroom window. We loved stopping off to see it on our way 'home' to Eastshaw Guesthouse.

The sculpture of Tommy the soldier is excellent this sits on the sea front promenade at Seaham. It is so well made and a fitting tribute to the soldiers who fought in World War One.
