As a local from Seaham and somebody that was a small boy at the time of Seaham lifeboat disaster I was interested to find out more. It did not disappoint. A lovely little historic site. A must for any local or visitor to the area.

This is a very small, but delightful museum with an interesting tale to tell, the recovery and restoration of a former lifeboat, the RNLB George Elmy. The volunteer staff could not be more friendly and informative and provide, at least for the layman, many valuable...More

Staff are very knowledgeable. Everyone should always visit the lifeboats and make a donation when in the areas if them. Can recommend.
