This is run by the same people as the Casa de los Balcones, so basically it’s a glorified shop. The room to the left houses an artist with very good paintings, especially the ones of the bathing of the goats festival. An interesting optical illusion...More

Maybe the busloads of japanese visitors like this kind of souvenir shops, in my opinion there are so many other ways to sell souvenirs. These shops are a shame for the region that has so many beautiful and impressive things to offer.

The building was a former convent and today houses an art and craft shop that includes a permanent exhibit of a volcanic sand carpet. Great museum!

Another interesting place in La Orotava, a good introduction to local history, people & culture. Is just oposit another great attraction- Casa de los Balcones. This one is much smaller, free to enter & has more on sale for public. Great balcony & opportunity to...More

Situated opposite the Casa de los Balcones in La Orotava, this is also a beautiful area to look around and sample the local gifts etc and situated in an old 16 century building, which used to house the Convent Molina.
