One of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia and maybe in Spain. Go there at sunset, when the sun goes down the dune and the sand glows.

Just be careful when you drive from Tarifa, the road is a bit dangerous. You will need to pay for the car park but is fine. Amazing wild beach with awesome restaurants, clean water. If you are in Tarifa, GO

It goes on for miles! And is backed by Roman ruins. Well worth a visit. And as an EU citizen it was free to enter!

The wind from the Atlantic blows strong and sure, particularly as it 'necks' through the narrow gap between Spain and Morocco where Tarifa is situated. You will see no less than 100 plus kitesurfers on the water carving it up. They come from all over...More

I have to say I much prefer the Atlantic beaches compared to the Mediterranean ones in this part of Spain. They feel more spacious and although the water is cooler the beaches are generally cleaner. The great thing about this beach is that there is...More

We stated in Tarifa but on recommendation decided to cycle to this beach and it is glorious. I wouldn’t recommend the cycle as it is very hilly once you leave the main road but it is spectacular

Beautiful and quiet beach, loved it! If you are looking for a beach that is not crowded but peaceful and stunning, this is definitely one! And nice waves!

Visiting Bolonia in the old days (30 ys. ago), one could find wild horses and even a wild bull in this beach. Nowadays, the beach can get quite crowded with difficulty accesing the town due to heavy traffic.
