Surprising that such a small town as Baeza has such an impressive Cathedral. Well preserved and very large, one can see history unfold in this Church. Not to be missed!

The cathedral is one of the stonemason-architect Vandelvira’s works. Perhaps the most impressive details inside the cathedral can be found by looking towards the back where one can see the original narrow-span arch and the much wider span of Vandelvira’s work. The jump in scale...More

Baeza's main cathedral is definitely worth visiting. Be sure to use the audio guide to get in-depth history in the church and its many chapels and climb the 170 steps up the tower to get great views of the city.

The cathedral is beautiful and imposing. There is an entrance fee of 4 Euros and for 1 Euro more you can have an audio guide.

quite amazing to have a cathedral in a small town like this and it has to be viewed in that light. Architecturally interesting with lovely paintings and generally impressive.

A museum and an active church means that you have to pay for entry if not visiting on a Sunday. Much of the interior has been restored, but it retains its charm.

If you are afraid of heights or small places: don't go up the tower, otherwise: go! You will have a great view of the surroundings. The cathedral itself is also very impressive, especially for a small town like Baeza.

An imposing building which has interesting Moorish remains in the courtyard reminding us of the history of the area.
