We arrived there through the road Transbucegi which takes about 2 hours to get there. The route is beautiful ,through the forest and you pass Bolboci Dam.

The road was blocked and we used alternate macadam road. Direction we got from road workers. It takes about 2 hours to get there but it worth. Great nature and oportunity to try Your offroad driving skills.

The cave is very nice you can spend some time there. They have lighten passage, you can climb stairs, walk in tight and large places, underground waterfall..very nice experience!!

we didn't know that the road is for 4x4 . the ways are beautiful and the mountain was cover with snow all over but it wasn't a safe experience. we didn't sucsess to arrive to the montosery.

You have to take the cable car from Busteni - Babele to then Babele - Pestera. Then you have to walk 1 km to the cave/monastery.
