Of all the attractions in my recent visit to Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania, peles castle was my favorite. Most of the interior is woodwork using either rosewood or walnut. The craftsmanship is exquisite.
We are able to walk around the outside and take a few photos. 65 Lei entrance to the first floor and more for the higher floor plus photo fee.
A little run down but interesting.
And a good uphill walk to get there.
Great historic and authentic place. Nice to visit and take wonderful photos. Good for families, couple and just friend, ant time of year but when there is a clear view it makes the visit better. In November the castle is closed for maintenance.
