The new Roman excavations were still not open to the public when we visited but when we explained how keen we were to see Trajan's Bridge a kindly curator took us on a personal tour, even though they could not speak English. They spoke French...More

Same as Trajan's bridge. The site is still "under construction" so you can't see much. I saw many people excavating, I guess they found some other pieces of history. Maybe in a couple of years...
