Great quality cycle route along the canal. Could do with some coffee stops though. Lovely easy ride for all the family as it is nice and level.

Walked from Leixlip to Maynooth along this scenic and historic trail. Good for walking and mountain biking. Trail is being gravel led and widened. Well maintained.

Just a great amenity on our doorstep. Lots of lovely scenery. Paved in parts, gravel/dirt in others....really good walk on a gorgeous sunny day.

If its heaven on earth you want peace and quite .There is no place like the canal line around Mullingar to cycle . I do it regular winter and summer . Sometimes with only wildlife for company swans the cranes fishing and the wild ducks...More
