I love walking here, there is so much wildlife to see escpecially the Fallow deer. I would walk my mum's Border Collie, he would always spot the red squirrels in the trees. I always feel refreshed and relaxed after our walk

An exceptionally large forest park to spend time with family and friends. This park is well organised and one can use the bicycle route and a disabled route. Our dog loves coming here every morning and never tires of his walk. An asset for Portumna.

This place is on the western periphery of the town so I recommend taking a bike ride out. There are some really beautiful walks here, of different lengths so there is something to suit everyone. Tons of wildlife. I do think they need better signage...More

Gates close at 7pm as far as I remember and I didn't see any sign of that changing for the summer time but I could be mistaken.
