Serene and crystal clear shallow waters that reflect the islets and clouds. Watch out for the midges though. Be sure to bring a head net, since these small nonbiting insects like to crawl up your nose or into your ears.
I camped on the edge or the lake which made for a beautiful sunrise! Some great places to eat nearby but beware, places close early even in summer. Nearby blue lagoon and hot caves make this lake a great central location hub.
This lake is amazingly beautiful. There are several points of interest located around this lake. Make sure you stop and look at every single point of interest and the overlook area above the lake from the highway!
