This place is stunning! Its is free to enter and look around, although there is a charge to visit the courtyard. Just take some time to look at the details. It was quite quiet when I visited.

At this site you can experience the last remains of the many medieval churches in Ribe. Dominican friars settled here around 1230. Don't miss the cloister garden (1 euro). Don't expect info in English or German at the site.

This is actually the last remaining monastery left in Ribe with cloisters in tact. It is a beautiful church and the cloisters give a real sense of the history of the place

The town’s abbey, St Catharine’s is not too far from the centre. It is free to enter but for a small donation you can visit the Abbey cloisters . Well worth it

Walking along the stream bank brought us to St. Catherine’s Plaza, so we decided to take a look at the church. The gilded altarpiece was elaborate enough, and featured a gruesome-enough scene of the crucifixion, that we suspected its origin might have been pre-Reformation. There...More

Its a quaint and beautiful church with a high terrace and pretty red colour. The fountain and square outside the church also lends to the character of the Kirk. The inside of the Kirk is simple and haunting.
