If you go looking for a nature reserve, you will not find it. It is more of a path on a hill. The views were nice as anywhere around the lake, the “trampoline” was fun but more of a jump from a firm platform.

We met another family in San Marcos to specifically visit the Cerro Tzankujil Nature Reserve. It’s basically just a swimming spot with a nice walk to get there and some good cliff jumping along the way, but it’s excellent. The entrance fee was reasonable at...More

The park itself is OK, well maintained with a decent view from the top of the hill. The big draw however, is as a swimming spot, which is absolutely worth the small entrance fee. Sit on the rocks on the waters edge, or jump off...More

Lovely reserve, close to the main area of San Marcos La Laguna. Beautiful view of the lake and the volcanoes from the lookout.

A great place to jump into the lake, go swimming or rent Kayack's. Climb the hill to the Mayan Altar. Relax in the sun or in the shade. You can spend 1 hour here, or all day.

Nice spot to venture around for an afternoon. Bring some food and drinks and hang out. Didn't jump off the 30 foot platform into the lake but below it there are some rocks you can use to jump in. The water was clean and not...More

We would recommend going to this reserve. 15Q is like $3 Canadian - totally worth it. We also rented kayaks for 40Q and that was an awesome experience. The jumps, crisp water, and rope swings are worth the visit!
