The base is full of good stores, restaurants and activities. It is bigger than any other in South America. They lifts are OK, they have gondola, cable car, 2, 4, 6 pax. They have tubing, Snowbike, and good restaurants spread on the mount .

I have skied all over the world. That said, my expectations were low for Catedral (based on everything I read and the limited reviews) but I found the resort excellent!!!! We had four…actually three ski days at the mountain. The first day the mountain was...More

Large mountain with lots of lift and intermediate tracks. Many places to eat and drink, and a large base with many shops. Snow was kind scarce when i was there (1st week of August) and it was not possible to ski from top to base....More

Pistes were in great condition for the last week of the season. Icy and hard early in the morning. Only about 6 lifts open but enough to keep 2 advanced skiiers happy for a day. Panoramico piste offers amazing views, so that's not really about...More

If you like to ski or have snow fun, Catedral is the place. For a South American snow resort it is very well equipped, with all levels slopes, School for Kids and Adults. Good structure for both Skiing and Snowboard.

This is a very good ski center. The only albeit is the base; it got little to no snow. Now, once you are up there, don't bother to go down. You have great restaurants up there. You can have good plate of pasta and a...More

Cerro Catedral is the closest as well as the most known (and overrun by Brazilian tourist) of the mountains near SCB. But its a beautiful trip and can be reached by public buses. The restaurants at the base station are already expensive, so prepare your...More
