The ascent to el Mirador is easy but steep, then you continue on a smaller path until you get to a two way cross. Take the not so steep path to the right to get to the waterfall. You have to go down the the...More

A medium difficulty level hike. The scenery is beautiful and the look out point is spectacular. Be careful as you get close to the cascade.. The path is steep and not well safeguarded.

It was a lovely hike up the mountain, with a nice view of the lakes. it was interesting to see volcanic ash in the forest, but the plants and flowers (In late spring) seemed to be flourishing.

It takes about 30-40 minutes of a relatively easy hike to get to the vista point overlooking lake Correntoso where it links up to lake Nahuel Huapi. The walk in the forest is very nice and the view is worth your while.
