This museum displays an interesting collection of South-American indigenous objects, like textiles, pottery and jewelry. The owner explains a lot (and speaks English), which is nice. It made me understand the South-American culture better. Entrance fee is 100 pesos, definitely worth it!

Make this a top in Salta. This is an eclectic but really interesting collection of ethnographical pieces, old and more recent which aims to put indigenous culture in context. The guide is enthusiastic and knowledgable

This is a gem that is off the beaten track. The guide, Diego, was passionate about his work and about the anthropologist who organized the museum. Wonderful depiction of Indigineous cultures in the Andean region. Just a fun visit

We arrived here a bit late in the afternoon and weren't sure how to enter. This is a private collection so I suppose it doesn't work like a public museum: we had to ring the doorbell. The door was opened for us and a very...More
