This small boutique winery is a great place if you want to learn about great argentinian wine. The winery is very small so a visit to Achaval consists of tasting sessions of their wines. Leonardo the sommelier made the experience very good, he had a...More

There are so many wineries to visit in Mendoza. We strongly suggest that you focus on quality over quantity. Achaval Ferrer is certainly not the cheapest but for us it is one of the best producers in the area. They don’t waste time with long...More

We came to Mendoza to experience some of the best Argentine wines. At Achaval Ferrer we found an excellent wine tasting with knowledgeable sommelier in a beautiful relaxed setting. We hired a car so was easy for us to travel around.

Cecilia, our guide, spoke excellent English, had personality plus, and was enthusiastic about the wines produced here. This winery only produces red wine and the vineyards are at three locations. Finca was one of their big reds from 100 year old vines grown at 950...More

This winery is beautiful! The view from outside is picturesque, with the vineyards sprawled in front of the mountains. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun! He gave us an extra tasting and most of my party ended up buying their...More

My friend and I visited from London, UK in November 2017. The vineyard had been recommended to me by a friend who'd visited a few years earlier and I'm really glad we followed her advice. We booked a tasting experience via our hotel in Mendoza...More

I like Malbec wine and this was a good place to experience the three regions that are used to make the various wines. Not much to see in the barrel room but a lot to enjoy by the glass.
