This is a wonderful memorial to those people who were brought here, frightened, humiliated, often tortured and then murdered. Once the first wave of arrests and oppression had passed, most people were arrested and tormented simply for their liberal or radical political opinions - or...More

Torture and disappearances of those percieved as anti-government occurred here at the hands of the notorious D2, a special division of police created to deal with political 'crimes'. Unfortunately the place was undergoing restoration so only a couple of rooms were open. It is chilling...More

This is a well done museum about repression in Argentina between 1976 and 1983. It contains photos, items, mementoes, and the like. Though it is gruesome (as it should be) it is thought provoking, well explained, and it flows.

The museum is must for anyone visiting Cordoba. In the shadow of the Cathedral, no doubt the singing drowned out the screams of the victims. The museum is moving, educational and a lasting memorial to the victims and mens cruelty. It is still fresh, especially...More

It's easy to get interested, even if you don't know argentinian recent history. The bright scenography throws you into the worst part of the human soul. You suddenly care for unknown people which are still missing today, 40 years later, after being trapped to death...More
