Easily reached from Plaza San Martin this small old house gives an interesting glimpse into the life of an important family in the 1700s . Simply furnished, we could see the family quarters, the entertaining rooms and the slaves' living area - what a tiny...More

We were walking in the center of Córdoba and saw the house that is beautifully kept. The guides were lounging in the hall, I doubt they speak languages, we paid our entrance fee and walked round the house, we are Argentine and know a bit...More

This museum was nothing special, but an okay way to spend a couple of hours. Most of the rooms are decorated as they would have been in colonial times, with accompanying info. There are also a couple of rooms with items like weapons, silver, crockery...More

This shows you how early life was for a Spanish Grandee governor and his family. Notice all the courtyards and the lack of hallways for communicating through the rooms. On one courtyard, I found five pigeon nests. It's a quiet place.

A lovely, spacious mansion that really holds a feeling for what daily life was like for the rich and powerful in eighteenth century Cordoba. Loved the authenticity, though don't see need to go as far as maintaining three hundred years of dust on everything. The...More

The museum offers a good overview of life in colonial times in Cordoba. Much is still original. During holidays, it is often closed, we can recommend the coffee shop Charlie Chaplin on the other side - very nice service.
