The place is a group of small memorial and exposition of the disappeared, tortured and killed people under the military dictatorship of Argentina. Shocking and sometimes heartbreaking stories.

Took Uber to and from site. Many buildings at ESMA including Malvinas Museum but main building is the important one to experience. Not often that you go to a place where 6000 people were brought after being abducted, tortured, humiliated, then murdered by being thrown...More

Our Auschwitz (not that the comparison should be stretched). The main clandestine detention centre, where thousands were held incomunicado, tortured, trhown alive into the River Plate fron helicopters and other niceties. A MUST for whomever cares deepñ for human rightrs.

A must-see for everyone who wants to understand the younger Argentinian history and what happened during the dictatorship 1976-1983. Highly interesting. Very competent and engaged guides who are able to ignite the wish to learn more about Argentina.

Normally, they are at noon, 1300, 1400 and 1500. Times and dates can vary. Staff normally is very helpful.
