We booked La Ventana through our hotel - as such we risked all the usual tourist trap mistakes of paying too much for not much in return, but the gamble paid off. The bus pick up was 45 minutes late and put us at the...More

Because of the general consensus amongst reviewers, we gave the dinner a miss and ate at la hestancia, a grill about 5 min away. Much better value I think. The show was very professional and quite spellbinding and we enjoyed it much more than we...More

We decided to skip the dinner and just see the show. Wow - what an amazing spectacle. We were a bit reluctant that it might be a tacky tourist trap, but that wasn't the case at all. We found ourselves spellbound and dazzled by the...More

We booked here despite the poor reviews as another show reservation was cancelled at the last minute and it was pretty disappointing. The dancing was excellent but that was really the only positive. The bus didn’t turn up to pick us up so we had...More

We had dinner and followed the waiter's recommendation of the Argentinian steak which we very good. The performance followed which was very good. I would call it a cultural performance rather than strictly tango as about 40% of show was singing, gauchos with lasso, accordians,...More

The tango show and dinner were pretty average; the food was ok but it is like a mass dining hall. The staff were all very friendly and nice. The show itself was more cabaret than just tango; musicians and dancers were all very talented. Overall...More

... I had the opportunity to go there again and again. We had the steak and it was really good and well prepared. The show was fantastic, the dancers were extremely good and it was a pleasure to just lean back and enjoy. The band...More

First the good, the show was very nice and the performers most certainly are of top quality and talent. My reservation was made through our hotel (Hilton) I watched as the Concierge spoke to Nora and was told that our pickup would be at 19:30....More

Good show and great tango performers but there was a section for Latin America cultural performance which was totally unrelated to tango. The food wasn’t great either. When the show price with dinner came with a price tag, people would expect better quality food.

Really enjoyed the tango show and dinner. The performers were very good and dinner was decent as well. I didn't expect the show to be as long as it was. Yes the "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" number with visuals was a bit cheesy but...More

As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires,
Montserrat is defined by the historical events that

this connection to history: countless public

La Ventana is ok and more economical. Most tables are far from the small stage. Upstairs you will find Gala Tango which is slightly more expensive but the show is much better and the food as well. Stage is larger and all... More
