Great modern art museum. Very interest art and enjoyable. We liked the Xen light show. Would have been nice to see more English titles of the works.

The museum has large space to display a great collection of modern art. It is locacted near to Plaza Dorrego. There is a cafe on ground floor which is nice for relaxation after viewing the exhibits.

A great space for a museum with a great selection of modern art from varying disciplines and media. The cafe also serves excellent and interesting coffees.

It was a surprise to discover all the museums are closed on a monday. This is the largest art museum in buenos aries and at best it's ok ish. Compared to other south American countries this place does not show any enthusiasm.

This was my most enjoyable trip to a museum. I just found the museum by accident. It is only a couple of blocks away from Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo. The security guard invited me in, said that they did not have an entrance fee...More

What a disappointment, when we found out that the museum is closed to the 10th November for establishing the new exhibition. Therefore don't go there till 10th November to avoid the same experience

Three excellent photo exhibits while the renovation is in process. Tuesday is free. My favorite exhibit is “somnyama Ngonyama.” ZAnele Muholi from South Africa.

This is a big museum with little in it - I expect the low or zero price recognises that. Even given that a lot of the space is under renovation, the remaining space is dedicated to sparse temporary exhibitions which, when I visited, were not...More

It is a small museum made even smaller by the fact that half of it is under renovation. When we visited it had three photography exhibits, one that was so-so but the other two were excellent. Price was reduced because of the renovation.

San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San
Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made
Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many
different cultures: a true child of immigration, much
