If you don’t speak Spanish, don’t bother.. it’s boring and as a solo traveller - everyone ignores you! You can join groups if you can speak Spanish only!

We had good fun attending a tango class and staying afterwards for the free styling. Neither my friend nor I are dancers in any way but it was good fun and relatively easy to pick up. Some of the people in the class have learned...More

This place is for tango lovers. No matter your level, you can take tango lessons. Then after the classes are over, you can stay up until 4AM watching the locals dancing as professionals. Get dinner somewhere else, the food there is not their specialty

No need to book, however we did email ahead to check on timings of classes. You pay on the door - very cheap from memory!

I think you can dance with whoever you want as long as you tell your teacher that you don't want to swap the partners . It's common that everyone circulate and swaps parents during the practice .
