About
While we could call ourselves 'mountain vineyards' we prefer to be known as 'garden vineyards'. In Spring specially chosen wildflowers flourish between our vines. We have no doubt that a biodiverse and ecologically sensitive environment produces infinitely better grapes and the beauty of our gardens is captured in every bottle of our wine. We pipe Baroque music through our vineyards 24x7 and believe that the power of music positively influences the ripening process. Enjoy an expert wine tasting on our veranda or enjoy a charcuterie platter for two, paired beautifully with the finest DeMorgenzon wines.

Amazing wine tasting experience and we had a great wine stewart introducing us to the wines. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gave us great background and information which help inform our choices. She mentioned she was new and we were impressed!

This is a beautiful Garden Vineyard. The wine on offer to taste or sitting down for a glass are of excellent opulence.

The marriage of Old and New World styles especially in their Reserve Range is worth a trip.

I would recommend any one, I mean anyone because they are welcoming all levels and standards of life who want to appreciate pure artistry.

Classical Old and New Music sounds are heard everywhere on the Estate, played to their Vines, The Cellar and of course the Tasting Room.

Why not go see, hear and experience.

This is one of the most beautiful wine estate that I have seen ever.
In The Stellenbosch kloof is it situated.
This was my first visit to this estate and the road to the house is very nice in between the vineyards. The old house is very beautiful the hospitality of Donna was perfect, she has a lot of knowledge of the wines. And the wines are very good especially the chenin, the best I ever drink.
This estate is one of a kind si beautiful.
I'll be back!!

This was our second visit to DeMorgenzon and on both occasions we had great service, friendly welcome and knowledgeable and informative staff. The wines are great and you pay for the tasting per glass, meaning you can really tailor your tasting to exactly what you want to try.

I second every 5* review. We went to six tastings over two days and this was our favorite. We too were graced by Kudzai, whose wine knowledge was surpassed only by his charm and good humor. Lovely atmosphere. Steeped in history. They had a pretty good selection you can order through a US middleman at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately they can’t ship their sparking wine, which was so lovely it caused me to burst into tears.

I had the absolute pleasure in sharing the delightful experience of DeMorgenzon with my international guests. The warmest of welcomes by our host named Kudzai- meaning respect or praise in Shona language. He was just that... respectful and worthy of the highest praises. From start to finish my guests were taken care of with the most attention to detail and a wealth of knowledge from Kudzai. The wines, of course, were equally incredible and the setting in which they were served was unforgettable. Island View Tours will be sure to visit this estate again and again! Thank you!!!

We loved the wines for DeMorgenzon. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, and they even play classical music in the vineyards to "soothe the vines". Their Chenin Blanc called Divas is outstanding.

De Morgenzon has always been one of those farms that consistently produce great wines. Every time I visit I enjoy their wines. You can truly taste the passion that goes into making their wines. One of the key aspects during the wine making process is that they play classical music to the vines while the grapes are growing, with the goal being that the musical vibrations positively impact the grapes, which is very interesting and something no one else (to my knowledge) is doing. The tasting area is an old cape-dutch house surrounded by big trees with options of inside and outside seating. The gentleman that did our tasting was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and during the tasting you could see the tremendous respect he has for wines as well as the entire tasting experience. We had such a great time and we ended up buying a couple of bottles to take home. Keep a look out for their Meastro Red 2015 - it is delicious!
