About
While we could call ourselves 'mountain vineyards' we prefer to be known as 'garden vineyards'. In Spring specially chosen wildflowers flourish between our vines. We have no doubt that a biodiverse and ecologically sensitive environment produces infinitely better grapes and the beauty of our gardens is captured in every bottle of our wine. We pipe Baroque music through our vineyards 24x7 and believe that the power of music positively influences the ripening process. Enjoy an expert wine tasting on our veranda or enjoy a charcuterie platter for two, paired beautifully with the finest DeMorgenzon wines.

Great stop on our wine tour! Very good wine and the staff is very knowledgeable. Female-owned as well! Gorgeous view and setting which is typical of Stellenbosch but this small winery is exceptionally pretty.

Welcomed by the same person who served us back in March and to his credit, he instantly remembered us. We not only love the wines, the scenery, the good choice for tasting, where you get to choose the ones you want, which can be different for each of your group, but also the service and knowledge of the servers. They also do platters, but we didn’t try them. Definitely worth a visit.

Wow! Just Wow! Where to start ….. simply divine! Tanya our sommelier is the font of all knowledge what an experience. The moment you drive through the gate you know you’re in for a treat but what a special experience it is! The setting, the music, the platter, the wines, the sommelier, the gardens - everything is on point and truly an all encompassing treat for the senses. Very, very special cannot recommend highly enough. Tanya is a superstar!

Amazing wine tasting experience and we had a great wine stewart introducing us to the wines. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gave us great background and information which help inform our choices. She mentioned she was new and we were impressed!

This is a beautiful Garden Vineyard. The wine on offer to taste or sitting down for a glass are of excellent opulence.

The marriage of Old and New World styles especially in their Reserve Range is worth a trip.

I would recommend any one, I mean anyone because they are welcoming all levels and standards of life who want to appreciate pure artistry.

Classical Old and New Music sounds are heard everywhere on the Estate, played to their Vines, The Cellar and of course the Tasting Room.

Why not go see, hear and experience.

This is one of the most beautiful wine estate that I have seen ever.
In The Stellenbosch kloof is it situated.
This was my first visit to this estate and the road to the house is very nice in between the vineyards. The old house is very beautiful the hospitality of Donna was perfect, she has a lot of knowledge of the wines. And the wines are very good especially the chenin, the best I ever drink.
This estate is one of a kind si beautiful.
I'll be back!!

This was our second visit to DeMorgenzon and on both occasions we had great service, friendly welcome and knowledgeable and informative staff. The wines are great and you pay for the tasting per glass, meaning you can really tailor your tasting to exactly what you want to try.
