Very commercial- service was efficient but not really friendly, wine tastings are done inside in a large hall. The wines are great, definitely recommend the wine and chocolate pairing. Grounds are pretty.

We have been enjoying outings to Spier since its inception and finally, after persisting for a number of years have given up going there. Friday 6th July was a lovely sunny, wind free day and decided it was an ideal day to visit Spier again...More

Great venue. Service was exceptional. Our group opted for a wine and chocolate paired tasting and were blown away. The staff were knowledgeable and polite and made the whole experience fun. We had a great time and really enjoyed the wine and chocolate.

Stopped at Spier for lunch and a walk on a rainy day. Loved the sound sculptures and a tasty sandwich and enormous slice of cheesecake at the cafe. Did not taste wine as was driving. Also recommend Eagle encounter (see separate review).

I spent an interesting afternoon here. The grounds are stunning and I did a wine and chocolate tasting, which was a good concept. Although we concentrated on the wine tasting there were many other activities and lovely picnic grounds.

There are many driving companies there for this reason! Or if you book the place we were in, you can walk to 3-4 wineries.
