Polkadraai Farm is located in the Stellenbosch Winelands where the public can pick their own strawberries in season. There is an authentic farm stall on the farm that offers a wide range of jams, preserves, dried fruit, fruit and vegetables and so much more. Strawberry picking is a fun day out for family and friends and the farm has become famous for its scarecrows and sweet tasting strawberries as well as homemade strawberry jam.

Some friends from Jhb and I stopped over here. It was a very hot December's day. The establishment was extremely busy and we were seated outside on the patio, where every few minutes, water shot out from misters to try and cool customers down. The...More

Mooiberg stall - fruit, conserves, wines etc - will always remain to be on our list of places to visit. Unfortunately we missed the strawberry picking ( not currently in season). But this too can be recommended. The wine store carries a huge amount of...More

Excellent, love going here, wish the owner would do something about people smoking in the kids play area (not legal). Delicious strawberries, very well maintained, like that you can prepay for the picking container. Lots of families, great vibe.

Very good selection of wines. Prices are good but dont just buy...look for specials. Fresh produce. Lots of local sauces and pickels. Overall not a very good looking place but nice.

This restaurant has changed dramatically since we first went there and we've been a couple of times prior to it changing. It used to be more of a 'coffee shop' atmosphere but is now two different enterprises the one of which sells craft beers and...More

Our December vacation was closed off with a visit to this lovely family friendly farm, besides 1 small hiccup, the day was really lovely. Good weather kept us picking strawberries until our containers were over flowing. The children's play area kept the children well busy,...More

Very much enjoyed our visit to this farm, dotted with many different scarecrows. You choose your bucket size depending on how adventurous you feel, and pay for that. The strawberries you pick are then paid for. As January is nearing the end of the season...More
