This boutique winery is picturesquely nestled in the Jonkershoek Valley, just 3 kilometres outside town in Stellenbosch. The setting is simply overwhelmingly beautiful - hence, the name of the Postcard Cafe. What was intended to attract more feet to...more

Some more good news for you: the 2018 vintage of our Round Mountain Sauvignon Blanc is now available at our tasting room. We hope to see you back here again soon to sample this fantastic new vintage.
We had already done one wine tasting that day as part of our holiday itinerary which we all thoroughly enjoyed ( even the non-drinkers) .... so expected similar; but such a difference here - a lukewarm reception, left in a tasting room with no hint...More
Nearly left the place without tasting their superb wines, as the tasting venue is under refurbishment, with no signs or indication where the temporary venue is. If you look inside the restaurant you would not have quessed that tasting is held inside. Luckily the heavenly...More

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the ongoing renovations. Thank you for your understanding, and we're glad you still enjoyed the wines.
We stopped here for lunch and wine tasting after a hike in Jonkerschoek and it made for a perfect afternoon! We sat outside at the Postcard Cafe where the mountain views are stunning.
The wines were excellent. We left with a bottle of their red...More

Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your visit with us. We will be sure to pass your comments on to Theo.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Stark-Condé again soon.
We were sent to Stark Conde by a friend who works for Platters. We were totally taken by surprise by the Cabs, these were the best cabs we ever had in South African. The farm is beautiful in a valley almost in downtown Stellenbosch.

It's great to hear you enjoyed our Cabernets so much. Be sure to pop back for another visit soon as we are about to release some new vintages.
Recommend booking to get a table outside, especially on weekends. Food is delicious (recommend the seafood pasta), they also have cakes and brownies- quite pricey though. They also offer red wine tastings of the Stark Condé wines. The view is gorgeous, surrounded by the Jonkershoek...More
Just outside Jonkershoek Nature Reserve you will find this very nice place for lunch and wine tasting. It is not too far from central Stellenbosch, yet, I advise to have lunch after a wine tasting before moving on!
I stopped at Stark-Conde Wines for an afternoon snack and glass of wine after hiking in the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. The setting was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious and the wine excellent. The only drawback was the service in that the waitress could not...More
