- GDE12345678Beaconsfield, United Kingdom96 contributionsFantastic!Taken by our children as they found this gem of a place a year ago and raved about it. We weren’t disappointed The owners deserve a medal for retaining the old world charm and making this classic Cape Dutch estate a pleasure to visit. The grounds, buildings, gardens, museum, and everything are so well preserved that you can’t help feeling as proud of the effort and place as the owners must. The staff were helpful, enthusiastic and clearly loved their work. So rare these days. We left with many cases of great tasting wine that isn’t priced to make you frown. Bravo Rustenberg.Visited January 2023Written 9 January 2023

It doesn't get as busy as some places and benefits from this as you get a very personal tasting. Add to this the very good quality of wines to taste, and the fact that you can get your tasting fee back by buying a bottle of wine makes for a great tastingVisited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 March 2023

We loved our wine tasting at Rustenberg.
The 2 km drive in to the estate was worth every meter. The tasting was done in a really nice setting in the garden . We loved all the wines and also the way they were presented.

A lovely wine farm with refreshing wine options away from the hustle of over-commercialised wineries in the area.

Rustenburg is a beautiful wine estate. It’s a little out of the way, but the reward is worth it. The wines are really good and the gardens incredible. Well worth a visit -take time to soak in the beauty. Take time to enjoy the history, nature and delicious wines.

My partner and I go wine tasting most weekend, and this one has stood out by far from the rest. Dylan was doing out wine tasting, and he is an absolute credit to Rustenberg (along with his lovely colleague Rolan!). The wine tasting was casual, informative, interesting (without being boring which can happen with information being given at some wineries) and exceeded expectations.
The drive in was also lovely - bonus.
We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Dylan!

We visited open recommendation of our guide from Social Trekking. The adults relaxed and did a tasting outside, while the kids played in the lawn. Beautiful, historic winery.

Plan on bringing your 2013 red blend wine to a Thur wine tasting (for a max3 red blend) We match food to wine ...bringing varied grilled sausage kabobs . Have read all about your winery..will include short history in my presentation. & wonder if you have a word from the winemaker or an owner to add. Would be exciting to include.
Our niece & family live in Capetown & we were fortunate about 15 yrs ago to visit & tour SA & visit Stellenbosch.. beautiful countryside . Would love to return someday & would certainly include a visit to Rustenberg winery. About to email Susan . & see if she is familiar with your wines(they're wine afficinados) We enjoy SA wines & so good to find one not widely distributed
Thanks Barbara Leveroni
